Katvig's new autumn/winter collection has never been greener! 83 percent of Katvig's new autumn/winter collection is environmentally friendly. Safe, healthy and plain nice to wear.
Can you make some of the most beloved children clothes in the world, and still be kind to nature? The Danish children fashion clothing company Katvig says yes. The autumn/winter 2010 collection from Katvig brings sustainability to new heights, with 83% of the clothes being produced in an environmentally friendly way.
The new collection features the well known Katvig Apple print along with new cutting edge designs. The trademarks of the collection are happy colors, lots of stripes and uncomplicated esthetics. For example in the plain colored rib wear and angel-soft velvet wear. The fashion volume is then turned to the max with printed essentials featuring rock ’n’ roll guitar and loveknuckles, and outerwear in natures own colors.
Old plastic bottles and recycled cotton
Like previous years, Katvig shows that they are able to meet not only the demands of the children but also the demands for a greener production. The A/W 2010 collection presents more styles than ever made from recycled cotton. And again this year, old plastic bottles are reused and turned into colorful outerwear and, as something new, fleece jackets and baby suits.
These efforts earn Katvig’s A/W 2010 collection the approval of some of strictest and most respected certification standards and 3rd party verifications in the world.
Katvig leads the way
In recent years Katvig has been a world leader when it comes to organic and sustainable production of children fashion clothing. The company was the first in Scandinavia to produce snowsuits from old plastic bottles, and their multifunctional degradable shopping bags have changed the way we think about bags.
With the autumn/winter 2010 collection the fight for a greener future continues.
